Who we are

Oove Studio ("Oove", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada. You can reach us at contact@oovestudio.com.

What Oove provides

Oove provides a personalized hair and scalp analysis based on the information and photos you submit. It explains what is likely affecting your hair or scalp, how to approach it, and which products and routine may help. It is informational guidance, delivered as a digital document by email. It is not a physical product and not a medical treatment.

Parts of the analysis are computer-assisted, including AI reading of your photos both during the intake and while our analyst prepares your analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy. A human analyst prepares and reviews every analysis before it is sent.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Oove and to make a purchase. By ordering, you confirm that you are.

Your submissions

You agree to provide accurate information and to submit only photos of yourself, or photos you have the other person's permission to submit. If you add a reference image (for example, a style you like), use images you have the right to share; we use them only to understand the look you want. You are responsible for the content you upload.

Because the analysis depends on your photos, unclear or low-quality photos may delay delivery or limit what we can assess. We may ask you for a better photo.

Pricing and payment

The price of your order is the amount shown at checkout at the time of purchase, including any add-ons you select. Payment is taken up front, before you complete your intake. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Delivery

We aim to deliver your analysis within 3 to 5 business days. This is an estimate to set expectations, not a guaranteed deadline. If a photo needs to be re-sent, the estimate starts again from when we receive it.

Not medical advice

Our recommendations may include widely available over-the-counter options (for example, minoxidil for hair loss, or anti-dandruff products) as general guidance. If your concern is persistent, worsening, painful, or unclear, please see a dermatologist or doctor.

Patch-test and reactions

Everyone's skin and hair are different. Before using any recommended product, patch-test it and follow the manufacturer's instructions. We are not responsible for individual allergic reactions or sensitivities. If you have known allergies, tell us in your intake so we can account for them.

No guaranteed results

Hair and scalp respond individually and over time. We give you evidence-based guidance, but we cannot and do not promise specific results.

Your analysis is for you

Your analysis is prepared for you personally. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute it.

Acceptable use

When using Oove, you agree not to:

• Submit another person's photos without their consent.
• Submit fake, misleading, abusive, or unlawful content.
• Submit inappropriate or explicit images.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service.

We may decline or stop service if these terms are broken. If we decline your order because of an inappropriate or unusable submission and we have not yet delivered your analysis, we will refund you in full.

Refunds

You can get a full refund any time before your analysis is delivered. Once delivered, an analysis is a completed, personalized digital product and is non-refundable. The full details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Our content

Our website, brand, text, and the methods behind the analysis belong to Oove. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of them to you.

Limitation of liability

Oove is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Oove is limited to the amount you paid for your order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Quebec.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Your continued use of Oove after a change means you accept the updated terms.
